Description

Incredibly safe and amateur friendly 2016, 15.3 hh, heterozygous grey PRE stallion. He is registered with IALHA and ANCEE. He can be gelded. He is currently schooling 3rd level with a green change. He has the capacity for much more. Not just talented, he is also very sweet. One of my young students rode him recently and commented that “he is easier to ride than her own horse.”

Victorio’s pedigree reads like a Who’s Who in the Andalusian world. His sire is the legendary Saltador ORO with too many accolades to even list here (check out his webpage at https://www.ranchodellago.net/page/saltador-oro/277). The short list includes 14 National Championships, 20 Best Movement of Show and 23 Gold Medal Movement awards, 8 times USDF Champion or Grand Champion Dressage Sport Horse, both Life Merit Awards, 3 USDF All Breed Awards, Sire of 17 National Champions, Hi Pt USEF breed sire twice; his get hold 250 show titles and he personally has 178, more than any other horse in the breed. Saltador’s sire is twice Champion of Mexico, imported from Spain and then to the U.S. by a syndicate of 10 breeders at a 6 figure price. His grandsire is Champion of Spain, Centella V and took the Guardiola farm to Best Breeder of Spain in 1984. Victorio’s dam is Ilusion MHF, Res National Champion senior mare and winner of multiple Gold Medal movement awards. Her sire is Navarre GF, twice U.S. National Champion and both Navarre’s sire and dam are National Champions. Ilusion’s dam is from the esteemed Spanish military breeding farms.

He has no vices or maintenance other than normal supplements. He is shod, but I rode him for 2 years without shoes. He is easy to handle around other horses including mares.
