Description

Laudable is solid at Second Level and currently schooling Third Level.  This lovely girl is light in the bridle and smooth to sit with comfortable gaits. She is a laidback ride. Laudie has such cadenced movement, even when she is loafing she looks good! Her median scores at USDF recognized shows at training and first level are over 67% with her amateur owner. Pre-COVID, she qualified for the USDF Finals at both Amateur Training and First Level based on her scores being high enough for a wildcard invitation. She now has one change confirmed and the other in the works. (I usually get the first side confirmed before working on the other.  We are just getting started on the left to right and got them clean often enough to be promising.  Buy her now before I get the other side confirmed and her price goes up. Both are shown on the video.) Half passes and pirouettes are coming along nicely.

Laudable VT is a registered Oldenburg NA Warmblood with a premium dressage pedigree. She is by Lörke (grandsire Laurie’s Crusader) out of a Donnerhall mare. She was bred through the Virginia Tech breeding program in Middleburg, VA, which produced many premium foals that went on to excel in various disciplines,

Although she’s a redhead, Laudie does not live up to the stereotype. This mare is incredibly sweet and friendly, and she has wonderful ground manners. She is easy to trailer, crosstie, and bathe. She stands quietly for the farrier and vet. She is seen regularly for bodywork which she thoroughly enjoys. She also loves leg stretches before her rides. She is easygoing but can have small, slow spooks on occasion. Nothing unreasonable. She hacks out on her own at least once a week.

Laud is currently living outdoors 24/7 and gets along well in a group. She is usually the dominant mare in the field, but she is not mean. She is an easy keeper. No history of colic. No regumate. No x-rays are yet done as the owner has owned Laudable since she was a foal.

For sale due to owner’s life circumstances. Developing an upper-level horse takes time and focus that the owner can no longer provide, but she does not want this girl’s talent to go to waste!

As for the videos: the show video is her amateur owner riding, and the other is me, the trainer. We are both 5’4″.  The first is of a first level test, the second schooling at home: half passes, changes, collection.
