Description

Make 2022 your year with Ivy League, a 2009, 17.1hh Hanoverian gelding with quality show miles, expert training, and personality plus.

“Princeton” is consistently sound with no barn vices, excellent feet, and a super sense of humor. He loves to play with his people and entertain everyone he meets, both in the barn and in the arena. Princeton has the rideability and personality that serious, ambitious Adult Amateurs crave, with the talent and foundation that professionals need, making him equally suited to any number of riders.

With extensive show experience at Second Level, Princeton is currently schooling all of Third Level, including dynamic flying changes in both directions, expressive half passes, and true connection and collection. He has high-quality show miles with experience at the Kentucky Horse Park, Hoosier Horse Park, and other world-class venues.

Princeton goes equally well in a simple or double bridle, is quick to connect to the contact correctly, and has the dreamiest, most expressive gaits anyone could hope for. He’s easy to sit at the trot, with beautiful hock action and eye-catching impulsion, and extremely balanced at the canter, with power to spare. He regularly scores 8s and 8.5s on his gaits, and it’s not hard to see why! This horse truly has the talent, brain, and conformation to go as far as you want.

Rubinstein lovers rejoice, Princeton’s sire is Pommery and his damsire is Rubinstein. He’s true dressage royalty, and you’ll see his damsire in his exquisite face and head, upright shoulder, and elegant neck.

Princeton is offered due to no fault of his own and will only be placed in a five-star home. References from farrier, trainer/barn owner, and veterinarian will be required before placement.
