Description

Harley is a lovely, large bodied gelding with three super gaits. In 2021, he showed Training level for a 75% and First level for a 72+%. Now he is schooling all the movements in 2nd level and beginning the 3rd level work with a green flying change. Harley has BIG gaits! He shows exceptional potential for “sit” both undersaddle and in long lines. This is a horse that seems to find the hard stuff easy and enjoys a challenge when given one. He likes his routine to vary– sometimes working in the arena, but also enjoys hacking in the field and working in long lines. Overall, he is easy to get along with, but would likely be better suited to a more advanced rider (or a rider in a program). He is not naughty or silly and is often very workman like in the arena. He would make an ideal candidate for a young professional or ambitious adult amateur/ Jr/Yr in a program to produce to the higher levels.
Harley is friendly and quiet in the barn– ties beautifully and stands for a bath. He stands for the vet and farrier. He likes “his” people and loves attention(especially if there is a sugar cube). Harley does best with lots of turnout( preferably 12+ hours) and seems to prefer to have turnout at night during the summer. He wears a full set of shoes and does not have any current health issues. No major maintenance requirements.

Owner is motivated and would make special considerations for the right situation
